The ARFID Clinic

Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder, or ARFID, is very different from anorexia nervosa and other eating disorders. The ARFID Clinic offers targeted treatment for ARFID. We provide detailed assessments and specialised therapy for children and teens with various avoidant or restrictive eating behaviours.

We know that different people struggle with their food intake for different reasons. At the ARFID clinic, we pay close attention to your individual situation, so that we can carefully select the treatments that will be most effective for you.

If you’re unsure about whether you should be worried, please contact your GP or other healthcare professional.

If you are under 18, or the parent/carer of a young person under 18, live in the boroughs of Lewisham, Bromley, Southwark, Greenwich, Croydon, Bexley or Lambeth, please seek a referral from your GP or other healthcare professional.

We accept referrals from age 8 to 18 except for ARFID service that accepts referrals from age 5.

We also have a range of resources to help you on your journey
